Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Geneva Black will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. She was born on October 25, 1921 in Tecumseh to Robert and Louella Mae (West) Dockery.rnrnShe is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Black of Seminole; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lillian Compton of Maud, Oklahoma and Veta and Larry Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Jean Dockery of Wewoka, Oklahoma and one sister-in-law: Catherine Jones.rnrnFour grandchildren also survive her, Rhonda Canfield, Sherry Beasley, Dean Pence and Aaron Compton as well as seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman Black who died in 2004; two brothers, Louie Dockery and Lee Dockery and one sister, Berniece Doty.
