Gene Beller, Maud, OK resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in Wewoka at the age of 92. Gene was born on January 14, 1931 in Ada, OK to Arch Steven Beller and Mary Ann (McCloud) Beller. He grew up South of Ada, spent some time in Edmond and the last 52 years were spent in the Wolf area. He married Orlena Ann “Lena” Beller on February 18, 1949 in Stinnett, TX.
In his earlier years, Gene worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed conversation with family and friends. He often went to Cowboy’s for breakfast and visiting. Gene took joy in watching birds and hummingbirds. He also enjoyed watching and keeping up with the news.
Gene is survived by his three sons, Gary Dean Beller and wife, Jane of Harrah, Ricky Gene Beller of Wannette and Mike Beller and wife, Sandy of Ada; daughter, Barbara Jo Davis and husband, Richard of Wolf; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and a ton of great great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Lena Beller; daughter, Connie Smith; daughter-in-law, Debbie Beller and grandsons, Russel Lee Burton and Raymon Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Pastor Carl Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
