Lifelong Seminole resident Gary Eugene “Dawg” Williams passed away on July 29, 2011 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 52. He was born on July 24, 1959 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Glenn Allen and Shirley (Ailshie) Williams. Gary graduated from Wewoka High School and worked for Joe Mills Well Service as a rig worker and painter. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors; he also loved music, paint and body work and working on tank batteries in the oilfield and was a butcher. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Gary married Joy Lea (Green) Williamson July 4, 2008 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and she survives him of the home. He is also survived by daughter, Tisha Abbe of Lawton, Oklahoma, son, Dakota Darr of Wewoka, Oklahoma, brother and sister-in-law: Wesley and Kristi Williams of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and sister and brother-in-law: Glennda and Mike Belcher of Wewoka, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren; Randy, Addison, Tyler, Abbe, Logan, Baylea, McKenna, Ryan, Caleb, Madison and Legand. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and other family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two grandmothers; Mocker Ailshie and Jewel Bradley and a nephew, Dustin Williams. Funeral services are scheduled 2:00 P.M., Monday August 1, 2011 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
