Longtime Seminole resident Garnet Dean Richards passed away on March 25, 2008 at Colonial Estates in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 81.rnrnHe was born on August 11, 1926 in Fanshaw, Oklahoma to Shvey George and Goldy Bird (Bost) Richards. rnrnHe retired from Seminole County as a road grater. He was a member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole. rnrnHe is survived by three sons; Ronnie Richards and David Richards both of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Billy Richards of Cushing, Oklahoma, three daughters; Alice Richards of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Diann Richards of Kansas City, Kansas and Debbie Richards of Alaska, two sisters; Loberta Elliott of Sasakwa and Lavada Elliott of Wister, Oklahoma. rnSeveral grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive him. rnrnHis parents and one son, Allen Richards, precede him in death. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:30am, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole with Rev.
