Longtime Maud resident Garlin Lee Cheatwood passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2006 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 77. rnrnHe was born on August 23, 1929 in Corbett, Oklahoma to Clarence William and Dora Mae (Willimette) Cheatwood. rnrnHe married Dovie (Cooley) Cheatwood on July 20, 1950 in Lexington, Oklahoma. He worked in Construction where he was self-employed. rnrnHe his survived by his wife Dovie Cheatwood of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law: Garlin Dale and Wanda Cheatwood of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kenneth and Angela Cheatwood of Meeker, Oklahoma, five daughters and sons-in-law:rnMary Goodgion of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Dorothy and Monty Wallace of Maud, Oklahoma, Beverly and Audie Sanford of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Belinda Cheatwood of Grand Praire, Texas, Janna Wallace and Jimmy Calvert of Maud, Oklahoma, three brothers and sisters-in-law: Charlie and Betty Cheatwood of Lexington, Oklahoma, Melvin and Juanita Cheatwood of Lexington, Oklahoma, Lewis Cheatwood of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and one sister Mabel Currie of Purcell, Oklahoma. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. rnrnHe is preceded in death by parents, one sister Grace Carr and four brothers: Bodie, Roy, Joe and Darrell Cheatwood.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Fairview Cemetery, Maud, Oklahoma with Rev.
