Gage Mickenzie Wood, 21 year old lifelong Seminole County, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Saturday, July 23, 2016 following a tragic automobile accident in Seminole County. He wore #62 and was a 2013-2014 All-State Football Player. Gage was also a power-lifter and was on the track and field team where he participated in the shot put and discus throwing. He was also a member of the fellowship of Christian athletes. Gage was a proud Chieftain and was also proud to be one of Coach Snyder’s boys. Gage was soon to begin classes at OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee where he was entering the pipelining program. There are so many things that can be said about Gage, but his smile said it all and his kind heart will always be remembered by those lives he touched in sports, Church, school and just in every day life to help them see the brighter side of things, that there was a way out and he would help them get there. The world is a little duller today because Gage Mickenzie Wood left this world with the light, joy and love he emitted. He will forever be a void in our earthly hearts, but rest assured he was in a very good, joyous purposeful path in his life.
