Freddie Don Emmitt Senior, 69, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 09, 2008.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Temple of Praise Church in Seminole. Rev. Harold Turner will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnHe was born April 20, 1938 in Earlsboro to Donald Turner Emmitt Jr. and Frances Emaline (Earles) Emmitt. He attended school in Pleasant Grove and Seminole until he entered into the US Navy in 1955. He was honorably discharged in 1961 from full time and reserve service.rnrnHe married Pearl Dea Bailey on September 27, 1963 in Ochelata, Oklahoma. Pearl survives him of the home.rnrnA truck driver, Fred retired from Sooner Trading in 2002. He and Pearl had made their home in Seminole since 1987.rnrnFred is also survived by his children and their spouses, Donald Arthur and Debbie Emmitt of Fresno, Calif.; Freddie Don Jr. and Sharon Emmitt, Leah Dawn and Thomas Thompson, and Donald Turner and Kristy Emmitt, all of Seminole; and one sister, Donna Sue Emmitt.rnrnHe is also survived by six grandchildren, Timothy Don Emmitt, Brittany Dawn Jones, Bo Wayne Jones, Dusty Lee Emmitt, Blake Ryan Emmitt and Ryan Andrew Emmitt.rnrnPallbearers include Jeff Earles, Tommy Farrow, Larry Arnett, Doyne Bailey, Lonnie Bailey, and Mark Earles.rnrnHonorary pallbearers will be Joe Earles, Matt Earles, Jasper Emmitt, and Rick Emmitt.rnrn Funeral Information: April 11, 2008, 11:00 AM
