Freddie Boatman

Freddie Boatman, 78 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born February 2, 1940 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma to parents J.D. Boatman and Minnie Mae (Ponkilla) Boatman. Freddie worked for several years at Eaton Corporation where he was a forklift driver. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Boatman of Seminole, Oklahoma; by two step-daughters, Diane Wilkes and Tonya Rackley; by one nephew, Henry Harper; and by his companion, Dorothy Jordan. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Minnie Mae Boatman, by his wife, Betty Boatman who died November 9, 1986 and by one son, Rusty Boatman. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
