Fred Elbert Alexander

Fred Elbert Alexander, a former resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Princeton, Texas on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. No memorial service is planned at this time, and a private burial will follow at a later date at Vista Cemetery in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma. Fred was born on November 28, 1937 in Asher, Oklahoma, to Viola (Tidwell) and Fred Alexander.  He was a graduate of Asher High School and served in the Army in 1965.  He worked as a Tool and Dye Maker for Bell Helicopter Aircraft and Aviation. He is survived by two sisters, Sheri L. Nix of Newalla, Oklahoma, and Wynona Lee Griffrith; three brothers, Robert Alexander of Newalla, Daniel Glenn Alexander, and Michael Eugene Alexander; and many nieces and nephews.  And he is also survived by his dearly beloved best friends, Dino and Grizz.   He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Milburn and Wanda Herrington. Funeral Information: May 10, 2011, 8:30 AM No memorial service is scheduled at this time. A private burial will follow later at Vista Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home located at 217 N. Broadway, Konawa, OK 74849
