Frank Revas, 75 year old former Seminole County resident passed from this life Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Seminole, Oklahoma to Ina Lee (Noska) Wind.rnrnHe lived with his mother Ina Lee Wind and his great grandmother and grandfather Judy and Gibson Taylor. Frank grew up in the Seminole and Wewoka area. He attended Bowlegs School. He spent his high school years at Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas, where he involved with track and field. His vocation was printing. In Lawrence, he was baptized and became a member of the First Baptist Church. After graduating from Haskell, he served in the United States Army where he was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in Ft. Lewis, Washington. He married Geneva Owens, July 31, 1954 in a Chapel on Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. After being discharged he went to work in Spokane, Washington for a short time. Later he and his wife moved to Republic, Washington where he was a lino type operator for the local newspaper. rnrnFrank and family have lived in Tulsa since 1957. He has worked in printing and other jobs and retired from Affiliated Foods as a truck driver where he worked for over 30 years. rnrnFrank leaves to cherish his memory his wife Geneva (Owens) Revas of the home.rnrnThree daughters and sons-in-law; Frances & Ronnie Shives of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Belinda & Neal Koch of Grand Prairie, Texas and LaDonna & Dennis Laughlin of Tulsa, Oklahoma.rnrnOne sister-in-law, Bessie Revas of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnFive grandchildren and two great grandchildren.rnrnHe is preceded in death his mother, Ina Lee (Noska) Wind and one brother, Thomas Revas (April 11, 2004).rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Rev. Kriss Haymes and Rev. Robert Kernal will officiate the service.rnrnInterment will follow at the Revas Family Cemetery with the Seminole Nation Honor Guard providing the military honors.rnrnCasket Bearers will be; Lance Revas, Gary Revas, Mark Revas, Ronnie Shives, Neal Koch and Brian Doll.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be; Justin Revas, Dustin Revas and Philip Doll.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole, Oklahoma.
