Frank Jackson, age 79 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Pecan Village Mobile Home Park in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22nd at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Vista Cemetery. Rev. Lester Robbins, Pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Asher will officiate. Pallbearers are Mike Davis, Dewayne Dixson, Keevin Dixson, Mark King, Harley Lemons, Cody Cooper, and Tracy Black. Frank was born on September 10, 1931, in Richmond, Missouri to Cora (Mefford) and Lee Jackson. He married Ettie Mae (Smith) on January 14, 1949, in Marshall, Texas, and he was in the Army from 1953 until 1956. He owned an Asphalt Paving Company in Asher, and he loved to play Bingo and watch Western shows and movies. He is survived by one daughter, Dusty Jackson of Asher, Oklahoma and three grandchildren, Shelby and Kathryn Dixson, and Tanner Etchieson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Lee Jackson; his wife, Ettie Mae Jackson; three brothers, Richard Jackson, Jr., Jimmy Jackson, and Donnie Jackson; and four sisters, Juanita, Dorothy, Kathrine, and Larabell.
