Frances Pauline Harjo, lifelong Seminole County resident, passed away early Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her residence in Konawa at the age of 71.rnrnShe was born March 19, 1937 in Sasakwa, OK to George Wesley Harjo and Cora (Davis) Harjo.rnrnPauline married Carlee L. Harjo.rnrnShe worked as a cook for New Horizon Nursing Home in Konawa for several years and was also a loving homemaker.rnrnShe was a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.rnrnMrs. Harjo is survived by her husband Carlee L. Harjo of the home;rnher mother, Cora Harjo of Sasakwa; rnfour sons, Carl Lee Harjo, Terry Allen Harjo, Dale Robin Harjo and David Kevin Harjo, all of Konawa; rntwo daughters, LaHome Jenice Harjo of Ada and Cecelia Julia Harjo of Konawa; rnone brother, Willie Harjo of Sasakwa; rnseven sisters, Kathryn Harjo of Sasakwa, Amanda Gipson of Ada, Wisey Harjo of Sasakwa, Toni Harjo of Wewoka, Lucy Harjo of Wewoka, Polly Owl of Stillwell, OK and Jean Tecumseh of Henryetta, OK; rn13 grandchildren; rn14 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her father and one son, Jeffrey Lee Harjo.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa with Rev. Joe Coon & Rev. Arthur Wayne Carpitcher officiating.rnrnA wake service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Spring Baptist Church.rnrnServing as pallbearers will be her grandsons.rnrnBurial will follow at Davis Family Cemetery, south of Sasakwa.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
