Frances Jane “ June “ Glenn, 66, Seminole county resident, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Frances was known to her many friends and family as “June”. She was born March 15, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Freland and Susie (Albert) Carpitcher. She moved to the Seminole area two years ago from Oklahoma City, she was a member of the Sand Creek Eufaula Church south of Wewoka, Oklahoma, she loved going to church and helping with the children and cooking for church functions. Frances was a great quilter, amazing cook and a woman with the biggest heart; she would help anyone in need. She was also an amazing pool player and took very good care of her family. Frances is survived by one son, Leon Lena, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shannon Hibbert and Lisa Bunner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Danny Carpitcher of Seattle, Washington and Jesse Carpitcher of Oklahoma City; and two sisters, Roxie Harjo and Carol Carpitcher, both of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Donovan Estrada, Nicholas Carter, Gabrielle Gallegos, Daniel Hibbert and Donna Hibbert. She is preceded in death by her mother, Susie Capes; father, Freland Carpitcher; her husband, Leon Lena, and husband, Morgan Glenn, Jr. “JR”; a granddaughter, Linzey Bunner; grandson, Leon Lena III; a younger sister, Lois Adachi; two nieces and two nephews. Wake services will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Houston Tiger and Jimsey Harjo officiating. Burial will follow at the Peter-Tiger Family Cemetery in Seminole County, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Shawn Hibbert, Donovan Estrada, Nicholas Carter, Jonas Carpitcher, D.J. Batest and DeWey Buckley. Honorary bearers will be Danny Carpitcher, Jesse Carpitcher, Ron Harjo, Jeremy Alliason, Jay Alliason, Marco Carpitcher, Daniel Hibbert, Francisco Calderon and Cleveland Calderon.
