Floyd Eldon Hooker, 56 year-old Maud resident passed from this life Thursday, May 22, 2008 at his home in Maud, Oklahoma. He was born August 14, 1951 in Roswell, New Mexico to parents Bud Hooker and Doris Evelyn (Hathcoat) Hooker.rnrnDuring 1967 and 1968 Floyd helped build a game refuge in Clayton, Oklahoma, that was something he was always very proud of. He married Barbara Kay (Jackson) Hooker May 12, 1972 in Maud, Oklahoma and he worked in the oilfield as a roughneck and a driller for several years until he began driving truck for Will?s Concrete.rnrnSurvivors include his wife, Barbara Hooker of the home in Maud, Oklahoma; his mother, Doris Austin of Maud, Oklahoma; three daughters and a son-in-law, Angela & Christopher Cichocki of Maud, Oklahoma, Candice Hooker of Maud, Oklahoma and Crystal Marie Nejmaoui of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Doeena Hooker of Maud, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Dunlap of Cloudy, Oklahoma and Beverly Hooker of Maud, Oklahoma.rnrnThe family has scheduled a cremation memorial service for Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma.rnrnServices are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud, Oklahoma.rn Funeral Information: May 27, 2008, 2:00 AM
