Floyd James Hayes, 73 Floyd James Hayes, a resident of the Cromwell, Oklahoma area passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at his home at the age of 73. Floyd was born December 7, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Carroll Morris Hayes and Lois (Davidson) Hayes. Floyd moved to Cromwell, Oklahoma 25 years ago from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Floyd married Donna Kay (Elkins) Hayes on February 26, 1960 in Del City, Oklahoma. Floyd retired in 1995, from J.C. Penny where he worked as a Major Appliance and Refrigeration Tech. Floyd is survived by his wife of the home, Donna Kay; one daughter, Teresa (Hayes) Poston of Wewoka, Oklahoma; one brother, William Hayes of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; one great grandchild. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mark Hayes, who passed away in 1995. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
