Floyd Orval Harrington, 72 year-old, former Seminole County resident passed from this life Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in Joplin, Missouri. He was born May 30, 1935 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents O.F. Harrington and Lavaner Flora (Ferguson) Harrington. He attended New Lima schools. Floyd married Ola Mae Welch on June 20, 1954 in Wolf, Oklahoma.rnrnIn 1961 he and his family moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma for a short time and then to Enid, Oklahoma in 1965. In Enid he co-owned and operated Tools Plus oilfield suppy company until he retired in 2000. He and his wife moved to Anderson, Missouri in 2002. They were affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church in Enid and the Patterson Hights Baptist Church in Tiff City, Missouri.rnrnMr. Harrington leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years, Ola Mae (Welch) Harrington of the home.rnrnOne daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Kenneth Smith of Enid, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo sisters, Dean Taylor and Nancy Snow of Enid, Oklahoma.rnrnFive grandchildren: Jason and Abra Jantz both of Anderson, Missouri; Jeremy, Amy and Josh Smith all of Enid, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo great-grandchildren, Dominic Smith and Haven Marston both of Enid, Oklahoma.rnrnMr. Harrington was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Pamela Jantz who died September 1, 2006; four brothers, John Melvin, Clifford, Don and Glen Harrington.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev.
