A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at the Vamoosa Baptist Church in Konawa. Burial will follow at the Vamoosa Cemetery. Kevin Duck will officiate. A Memorial Book is available to be signed at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma.rnrnFloyd was born on December 10, 1937, in Lincoln Nebraska, to Floyd Meril Everhart and Edith (King) Everhart. He was an Army veteran, and he enjoyed fishing, listening to classical music, and being around his family and friends. He also loved dogs. Floyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa, Oklahoma.rnrnHe is survived by two brothers; Larry Everhart of Antioch, California, and Johnny Everhart of Becker Minnesota; one sister-in-law, Deanna Everhart of Konawa, Oklahoma; and his niece Carol Morris and husband, Jeff and their children, Sarah, Elisabeth and Timothy of Konawa, Oklahoma.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Edith Everhart, his wife, Betty, and two brothers, Richard Everhart, and Arthur ?Bill?
