Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Florene Alice (Guinn) Tinsley are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Seminole, with Dr. Tommy Clark to officiate.rnrn Burial will follow at a later date at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.rnrn Florene Alice (Guinn) Tinsley went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. She was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Boynton, Okla., to Lee and Clara Mae Guinn.rnrn She graduated from Strother High School and attended Draughton School of Business in Oklahoma City. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base.rnrn In 1943 she married Winfred Tinsley in Little. She was a charter member of the Highway Baptist Church and later joined the First Baptist Church in Seminole.rnrn Florene and Winfred moved to California in 1945, where she was employed for 25 years by the West Orange County Municipal Court.rnrn In the last 20 years of her employment she served as Chief Deputy Clerk. She and Winfred moved back to Seminole in 1979, where she was employed by Mid-Continent Pipeline.rnrn Her parents, Lee and Clara Mae Guinn; her twin sister, Lorene Cannon; sister, Etta Lee Comstock; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Black, preceded her in death.rnrn She is survived by her husband, Winfred, of the home; son, Jack Tinsley and wife Lajuana, of Seminole; son, Ronald Tinsley and wife, Marcia, of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; grandson, Shane Tinsley and wife, Tara, of Shawnee; granddaughters: Tera Black and husband, Jamie, of Mathews, N.C., and Alison Tinsley of Seminole; great-granddaughters: Abbey Tinsley and Emma Arnold, both of Seminole, and Hayley and Cassidy Black, both of Mathews, N.C.; and brother, Furman Guinn of Great Bend, Kan.rnrn The family would like to thank Faith Hospice of Seminole; and Karen Alice and Joyce Goodman for their time and care.rnrn In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to the Falls Creek Youth of the First Baptist Church of Seminole.rnrn Funeral Information: February 14, 2008, 10:30 AM
