Flora Leona (Wilson) Hudson

Flora "Leona" (Wilson) Hudson , age 82 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away October 23, 2021 at AllianceHeath in Seminole.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Mike Craig, retired Pastor of Temple Baptist Church and R. J. Stokes, Pastor of Temple Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Ronnie Stokes, Bubba Hudson, Anthony Stokes, Terry Hale, Robbie Marcel, and Jimmy Russell.  The family will greet guests on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Leona was born October 3, 1939 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Raymond Wilson and Ester (Payne) Wilson.  She attended Konawa Public Schools, and she married Charles Wade Hudson July 20, 1964 in Van Buren, Arkansas.  Leona was a Camp Host for Mill Creek at Lake Eufaula for numerous years.  She loved camping, gardening, fishing, cooking, reading, crocheting, and quilting in her younger years.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Charles Hudson of the home; one daughter, Linda (Hudson) Roberts and husband, Jim of Konawa; four sons, Tommy Hudson and wife, Jo Evelyn of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Bobby Hudson and wife, Tina of Konawa, Frankie Hudson and wife, Gina of Seminole, and Charles Junior Hudson and wife, Sonya of Konawa; one brother, Frank Wilson and wife, Patty of Konawa; four sisters, Jane Russell of Houma, Louisana, Ruth Fitzgerald of Jamestown, Tennessee, Margaret Brown of Konawa, and Patsy Baxster and husband, Tom of Purcell, Oklahoma; twenty-one grandchildren, Travis Stokes, Ronnie Stokes and wife, Crystal, Rebecca Ortiz and husband, Tim, Dustin Roland and wife, Hannah, Miranda Watson and husband, Chad, Misty Winkler, Wade Hudson, Ryan Hudson and wife, Addy, Charles Hudson and wife, Ashley, Lacy King and husband, Joe Dan, Cody Nichols, Wade Hudson, Cora Hale and husband, Terry, Bubba Hudson and wife, Sara, Krista Marcel and husband, Robbie, Jessica Hudson, Charles “CJ” Hudson, Justin Wood and wife, Tamara, Cassidy Sent and husband Jessie, Jonathan Wood and wife, Miranda, Jerrod Wood and wife, Jessica; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ester Wilson; one brother, Curtis Wilson; one sister, Leta Gibson; and one granddaughter, Misty Gail Hudson.
