Former longtime Seminole county resident Ezel Sanders passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 85. She was born on January 14, 1924 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Stephen and Ella Dancer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole and was a welder during the war. She married Elmer Sanders on August 31, 1942 in Boswell, Oklahoma. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Elmer Sanders of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, daughter, Dana Duval of Anchorage, Alaska, son, Nathan Scott Sanders of Texas, brother, Dillard Dancer of Antlers, Oklahoma and a sister Hazel Dancer of California. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Nalea Zissa of Edmond and Christina Kolarik of Anchorage, Alaska, four great grandchildren, Alissa and Chance Meadows and Adrian and Kyleigh Kolarik. She is preceded in death by her parent Stephen and Ella Dancer, two brothers: Raymond and Alton Lee Dancer, two half brothers: Dewey and Elmer Dancer and a half sister, Lorene Wilkinson. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
