Evelyn E. (Costolo) Whitefield, 77 year-old, long time Maud resident passed from this life Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at Colonial Estates Care Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born March 15, 1930 in Fairmont, West Virginia to parents Emmanuel Charles Costolo, Sr. and Gladys Evelyn (Swisher) Costolo.rnrnEvelyn married Earl M. Whitefield on February 28, 1949 in Elkton, Maryland. She was a homemaker and moved to Maud 30 years ago from Georgia.rnrnSurvivors include two daughters and son-in-law: Ann and Paul Wagner of Maud, Oklahoma and Pat Boren and Terry Harjo of Shawnee, Oklahoma: One sister, Iona Hardesty of Bowie, Maryland. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Loring Wagner of Oklahoma City, Ok; Brian Wagner of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Nancy Gambill of Macomb, Oklahoma; Samantha Anthony of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Bruce Moore of McAlester, Oklahoma. Evelyn also has two great grandchildren: Jasmine Mooney of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Bryce Kirk of Tecumseh, Oklahoma.rnrnEvelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl M. Whitefield (9/24/1991) and one brother Emmanuel C. Costolo, Jr. (2006).rnrnGraveside Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Rev.
