Esther Allene (Dodson) Ward, 97 year old Seminole resident passed from this life November 10, 2006 at Pioneer Nursing Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born, June 21, 1909 in Fairplay, Missouri to parents, Albert Dodson and Clellie (Slatter) Dodson.rnrnMrs. Ward moved to Seminole from Fresno, California in May of 2003. She had been a waitress in California for many years. She married Raymond Derrell Ward on May 5, 1993 in Bullhead City, Arizona. Together they were members of the State of California Old Time Fiddlers Association District #2 in Fresno, California.rnrnShe is survived by her husband, Raymond Ward of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo step-sons, Preston K. Ward os Squaw Valley, California and Ronald Derrell Ward of Tulary, California. One step-daughter, Tammy (Ward) Hass of Visalia, California.rnrnTwo grandsons, Garrett Ward of Squaw Valley, California and Tyler Hass of Visalia, California.rnrnGraveside services will be held Monday, November 13, 2006 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.
