Seminole resident Ernest E. Wear passed away on Friday, February 9, at the age of 79 at Pioneer Nursing Home. He was born on January 21, 1928 to William Ernest and Edna Alma (Jackson) Wear in Okemah, Oklahoma.rnrnHe married Letha (Anderson) Wear on November 23, 1949 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was an automotive technician. His hobbies included: hunting, fishing, camping, boating and motorcycling to name a few. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs and was a 32nd degree Mason from Coronado Lodge # 56 in Hennessey, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army from 1946-1948 where he was a private.rnrnHe is survived by his wife Letha Wear of the home, brother, Jerry Wear of Ada, Oklahoma, and two grandchildren, Shannon Lecinski and Sheila Whitton. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Clayton Lecinski, Elisha Lecinski, and Kaylee Whitton.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Darla Wear on July 23, 2006, and three brothers: Clyde Wear, Floyd Wear and Eddie Wear.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating.
