Erma June (Bussey) Taff

Erma June (Bussey) Taff, 72 year old longtime Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center in Seminole, Oklahoma.  She was born August 18, 1946 in Maud, Oklahoma to parents William Franklin “Frank” Bussey and Anna “Lucile” (Work) Bussey. Erma grew up in Maud and graduated from Maud High School in 1964. On September 18, 1964, Erma married Walter Lee Taff in Maud, Oklahoma. Erma was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.  She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Maud. Survivors include two daughters, Kelley (Taff) Azlin of Maud, Oklahoma, Casey (Taff) Stackhouse and her husband Eddie of Maud, Oklahoma, one brother, Mike Bussey and his wife Nancy of Maud, Oklahoma, one sister, Sandie (Bussey) King of Shawnee, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Colton Grove, Hailee Grove, Bryce Azlin, Maegan Azlin and Paige Stackhouse.  Erma is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Erma was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucile Bussey, by her husband of 51 years, Walter Lee Taff, by one daughter, Donna Lynette Taff, by three brothers, Jimmy Bussey, Gene Bussey and David Bussey and by one sister, Nora (Bussey) Cain. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma with Pastor Butch Bradley and Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers will be: Eddie Stackhouse, Jimm Taff, Aaron Russell, Bryce Azlin, Paul Garner and Nels Rodefeld. Honorary Bearer will be Colton Grove.
