Eric Lyn Dunn

Eric Lyn Dunn, 41, longtime Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Eric was born October 3, 1971 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Lenny and Sharon (Duncan) Dunn. Eric grew up in the Shawnee area and attended and graduated from Prague High School in 1990. Eric was a truck driver and was a member of the Stroud Freewill Holiness Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. Eric loved farming, bowling, cooking and “ Charcoal outside” and being with his children. His parents, Lenny and Sharon Dunn of Shawnee, Oklahoma, three sons; Jeffrey Chase Dunn and Koalton Lloyd Dunn, of the home and Tatum Ray Dunn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a daughter, Ashley Lynn Guinn and her husband Dakota of Okemah, Oklahoma, survive Eric. A brother, Shawn Dunn and his wife Heather of Prague, Oklahoma, his grandparents, Lonnie and Charlene Duncan of Shawnee, Oklahoma, a granddaughter Rylee Guinn and a host of other relatives and friends also survive him. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday April 2, 2013, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Nathan Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Lonestar Cemetery near Rocky, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Mike Hinkle, Ray Cooper, Drew Harless, Tim Shields, Coty Davis and Ricky Kerr.
