Emozett Tyler Phillips, 77, longtime Konawa,Oklahoma resident died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Emozett was born on December 6, 1931 to John Wesley and Dorfie G. (Smith) Tyler in Konawa, Oklahoma. Emozett married Vivian Huland “ Bill “ Phillips on March 13, 1953 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Phillips grew up in Konawa and graduated from Konawa High School. After she married Bill, they lived in Norman, Oklahoma until June of 1962 when they moved back to Konawa. She was a seamstress for Michael Casuals Sewing Factory for 22 years until they closed in 1984 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Konawa, Oklahoma. Her husband, Vivian Huland “Bill” Phillips of the Home in Konawa, Oklahoma, survives her. One son and daughter-in-law David Mitchell and Pamela Phillips of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Two daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Charles Nail of Sasakwa, Oklahoma and Marsha and Rodney Bronniman of Konawa, Oklahoma. Four brothers Wesley Clinton Tyler and Roy Gordon Tyler both of Stratford, Oklahoma, Bobby Lee Tyler of Ada, Oklahoma and Johnny Everett Tyler of Pickett, Oklahoma. Three sisters, Agnes Williams of Seminole, Oklahoma, Patricia L. Goins of Newport, Oregon and Virginia R. Cleveland of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren, Tracy Burris, Stacy Gee, Clayton Phillips, Heath Nail, Brett Nail, Joshua Bronniman and Logan Bronniman, also survive her. Eleven great-grandchildren Sarah Gee, Hannah Gee , Lydia Gee, Kate Burris, Claire Burris, Britney Turner, Halee Nail, Karsen Nail, Domineque Borders, McKenna Nail and Dalton Nail. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Manuel Carroll Tyler and Bert Alford Tyler. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2009 at the P.A.C. Building at Konawa High School . Rev. Steve Lowrance and Mitch Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Konawa City Cemetery, Konawa, Oklahoma. Funeral Information: June 29, 2009, 2:00 PM
