Emma Cheyenne Sky Oranchak, Tonkawa resident, passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 20. Emma was born on July 26, 2002 in Wichita, Kansas to Opal Nicole (Tewell) Oranchak and Ricky Keith Oranchak.
Emma grew up in Missouri and moved to Oklahoma at the age of 8 where she spent most of her time doing arts and crafts with her grandma, Veronica. She loved traveling, puzzles and reading.
Emma is survived by her mother, Opal Oranchak and husband, Charles Harris; great grandmother, Opal Cloud “Big Mom”; grandmother, Mary Kempf; 2 brothers, Greyson Oranchak and Damian Adams; 2 sisters, Kayce Young and husband, Duston and Leanna Adams; niece, Brynlee Lynn and many other family and friends.
Emma was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Oranchak; grandmother, Veronica Simon; grandfather, Robert Simon; grandfather, Alex Johnson; uncle, Anthony Looper; great grandmother, Rose Johnson and great grandfather, Holland “King” Cloud.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Uriah Paschal, Duston Young, Dezmond Parker, Culv Jones, Kenon Jones and Akelah Frazee. Honorary casket bearers will be Tyler Feldt and Jaelin Jones.
Emma will be taken to the home on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. and remain there until Friday, January 6, 2022 when she is taken to Snake Creek Baptist Church #2 in Seminole at 4:00 p.m. A wake will be held Friday evening at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Snake Creek Baptist Church #2 in Seminole, with Rev. Bill Hobia Jr. and Rev. Kevin Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Tiger Family Cemetery (Sally Marcey Cemetery) in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
