Emily weighed 2lbs. 15oz. and only lived a short 47 minutes. She suffered from Thanatophoric Dysplasia, a fatal skeletal disorder. Emily was true to her name, “Emily” which means “Eager”, “Striving”. Emily stayed only a short 47 minutes on this earth, in the presence of her parents Tim and Margaret who love her so much. She was “Eager” to go with the angels and her God was Gracious to alleviate her from the pains of this world. She is now perfect in every way, and will always be a blessing in our lives. Survivors include her parents, Tim and Margaret (Burgess) Maggard, two sisters, Addison Ellaine (9 yrs. old), Peyton Louise Maggard (7 yrs. Old) all of the home in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Emily is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Chief and Tina Burgess of Red Rock, Oklahoma and by paternal grandparents, Michael and Doris Ventris of Prague, Oklahoma. Emily is also survived by a host of other family. “Softly” Softly, you tiptoed into our hearts. On the wings of love, you came, and our lives will never be the same; and just as silently as you came, you left our world, but not in vain. Oh, what a difference your footsteps have made. Tim and Margaret are choosing to have baby Emily cremated, and will most likely have a private family ceremony with their daughters Addison and Peyton and Emily’s grandparents.
