Emilia Baca Luna, 82, Seminole resident, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Elmwood Manor in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Emilia was born August 8, 1931 in Lubbock, Texas, to Margarita (Martinez) and Randolph Baca. Emilia was a homemaker, wife and mother, who love quilting, embroidering, puzzles and watching her “ Cowboy Shows ”. She married Manuel Luna on May 10, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2007. She is survived by her daughters; Margaret Gonzales of Del Rio, Texas, Beatrice Garcia and her husband Pete Garcia of Vici, Oklahoma, Rosemary Valles of Texline, Texas, and Rachel Cortez and her husband Antonio of Dalhart, Texas; her two sons; Edward Luna and Sammye Davis of Bowlegs, Oklahoma and Gilbert Luna and his wife Frances Luna of Killeen, Texas, and a sister Francis Subia of Lubbock, Texas, her grandchildren; Donna and Wayne Pogue, Lisa Gomez, John Manuel Aguilera, Trinidad Aguilera, Fabian and Kristi Aguilera, Vivian Gonzales,Michael and Recia Garcia, Loriann Garcia, Geneva and Oliver Rozella, Christy and Jason Smith, Monica and Pedro Martinez, Hector Hernandez, Sammy Hernandez, Olivia Luna, Gilbert Raymond and Kayla Luna, Veronica Cortez, Marco Cortez, Allison Cortez, Lucas Cortez, Jennifer Thompson, Rebecca Valles and Nataleigh Valles, 30 plus great grandchildren and 14 plus great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Randolph Baca, Jr., her son Manuel Luna, Jr. and a daughter Adela Hernandez and a grandson, Joel Aguilera. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Thrace Cemetery south of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
