Burial with U.S. Army Military Honors will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, OK. James Swain will officiate. Pallbearers are Marvin Patterson, Larry Mays, Bill Isaacs, Greg Gray, Van Chew, and Donn Pease. Honorary pallbearers are Stanley Johnson and Landis Clark.rnrnBud was born on September 16, 1919, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James Porter McGuire and Ruthe (Cooper) McGuire. He married June( Roquemore) Easley on September 26, 2005, in Holdenville, OK. Bud was and aircraft mechanic and a member of the American Legion of Konawa, OK. He enjoyed camping and traveling, and he loved his church. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, June McGuire of the home; two sons, James McGuire of Lexington, OK., and Ronnie McGuire of Sanger, Texas; one brother, Richard McGuire of Tucson, Arizona; and two sisters, Naomi Mitchell of Tulsa, OK., and Georgia Farmer of Clovis, California; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruthe McGuire; his first wife, Veneta, who passed away in 1991; one daughter, Carol Faye McCraw who passed away in 2004; two brothers; and one sister.rn Funeral Information: November 12, 2008, 1:00 AM
