Elva “Earline” (Sullens) Harris, age 90 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Brookdale Champion Oaks Assisted Living in Houston, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery at a later time. Rev. Pam Shirk will officiate. Earline was born February 25, 1927 in Borger, Texas to Edgar Wayne Sullens and Virgie Lee (Collins) Sullens. She was a high school graduate and a member of the First Methodist Church of Konawa, and she was also a member of the Eastern Star. She married Jack Willard Harris on August 27, 1946 in Guymon, Oklahoma. She is survived by two sons, J. D. Harris of Oklahoma City, and Will Harris of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Lee Randolf and husband, Ralph of Kingwood, Texas, and Darline Calvert of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Nicole Bird and husband, Steve, Jason Harris and wife, Sara, Monica Rose and husband, Jason, and Deven Harris and wife, Kelly; thirteen great grandchildren, Olivia, Kayden, Giorgie, Mack, Shealee, Brandon, Kyler, Kenzli, Brenna, Jaylen, Jackson, Ethan, and Gavin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Wayne and Virgie Lee Sullens; her husband, Jack Willard Harris; and two brothers, Perry Sullens and Calvin “Kenny” Sullens.
