Elsie Cane

Longtime Seminole resident Elsie Mae Cane passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 81. She was born on May 22, 1925 in Calvin, Oklahoma to Jesse and Icie Belle (Brown) Brewer. rnrnShe met and married Charles Cane on July 1, 1955. Elsie owned and operated Mae?s Beauty Shop in Seminole for thirty-two years. She has also been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1948.rnrnShe is survived by her husband Charles Cane of the home, sister-in-law, Betty Jo Weems and a special friend and caregiver Brenda Reynolds of Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 10:30am, Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev.
