Wesley "Elroy" Wilkerson, 60 year old life long Seminole resident passed from this life Monday, May 28, 2007 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born February 18, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Hershel Woodrow Wilkerson and Lois Lee (Summers) Wilkerson.rnrnElroy loved his family very much, he also loved to travel and go to gospel singings.rnrnSurvivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law; Ormal Dee Wilkerson and his wife Diana of Seminole, Oklahoma and Jimmie Wilkerson and his wife Wilberta Wilkerson of Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnNephews and nieces; Michael and wife Elizabeth Wilkerson of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Shelly Wilkerson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jeffery "Doc" Wilkerson and his wife Diane of San Diego, California, Kelly Wilkerson of Seminole, Oklahoma and Cheryl Lambert and her husband Donald of Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnElroy is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnElroy is preceded in death by his father, Hershel Woodrow Wilkerson who died November 12, 1997, his mother Lois Wilkerson who died August 26, 2000 and by one nephew, Loren Dee Wilkerson who died in 1964.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
