Elmer “Pony” Crockett was born on September 15, 1938 to Lula (Charles) Crockett and Howard Crockett.  Elmer passed from this life on Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. He was the third child born to this union.  His early years were spent in the Nobletown Community where he attended Nobletown Elementary.  His mother then moved the family into the town of Wewoka where he attended Douglas High School until the 12th grade.
