Ellis Eli Talmasey

Ellis Eli Wise Talmasey, 55 Lifelong Seminole resident Ellis Eli Wise Talmasey passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 55. Ellis was born November 13, 1957 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Andy Wise Talmasey and Jonah (Johnson) Talmasey. After graduation from high school he earned an associate degree in Tribal Law from Haskel University of Lawrence, Kansas. He also worked as a computer analysis and was of the Baptist faith. Ellis is survived by one son; Ellis Wise Talmasey II of Seminole, Oklahoma, two daughters; Lindsey Wise Talmasey of Seminole, Oklahoma and Eliza Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma. Three brothers also survive him; Kennedy Wise Talmasey of Seminole, Oklahoma, R.G. Wise Talmasey of Seminole, Oklahoma and Houston Wise  Talmasey of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents; Andy and Jonah Wise Talmasey, three sisters; Margaret Wise Talmasey, Linda Jones and Angel Wise Talmasey and one brother, Andrew Wise Talmasey. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Coney Island Tabernacle, east of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Rev. Dorsey Nero and Rev. Charles Troglin will be officiating. Burial will take place at Narcomey Cemetery, Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Brent Factor, Moses Factor, Chris Factor, John Walker and Johnsey Walker. Honorary casket bearers are: Terry Wise, Raymond Harjo, Tim Narcomey and Dean White. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma. At 5:00 p.m. the body will be taken to Coney Island Tabernacle, Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Wake service will start at 7:00 p.m..
