Ella Irene Anson, 95, longtime Seminole resident, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Norman, Oklahoma. Irene was born January 9, 1919 in Morris, Oklahoma, to Mary Eden (Mallory) and T.L. Dunagan.   Irene moved to Seminole from Okmulgee, Oklahoma 80 years ago. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole. Irene was a homemaker and also retired from Blue Bell here in Seminole.   Irene married Woodrow “W.T.” Anson on August 5, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma.   Irene is survived by her son Charles Anson and his wife Debbie of Seminole, Oklahoma, two daughters Elizabeth Brooks of Wetumka, Oklahoma and Phyllis Barrett and her husband, Pat of Seminole, Oklahoma, one brother George Dunagan of Illinois and a sister Eva Anderson of Illinois, twelve grandchildren Connie, Gidget, Jamie, Randy, Tommy, David-Kendall, Angelia, Michael, Betty-June, Misty and Matt and nineteen great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons David Anson, Woodrow Anson, Jr. and Joseph Jasper Anson, a brother Willard Dunagan, sisters Mary Etta Brown, Naomi Rothrock, Maxine Rankin and a grandson Tony Anson.   Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, with Father Brendan officiating.   Casket bearers will be Zachary Goss, Blake Goss, Ty Douthit, Michael Barrett, Matt Anson and Scott Douthit and honorary bearers will be her great grandsons.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
