Elizabeth Ann ?Beth? Vieux, 48 year-old lifelong Pottawatomie resident passed from this life November 28, 2008 at Solara Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born December 11, 1959 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to parents Charles Franklin ?Charlie? Vieux and Mary Elizabeth (Holmes) Vieux.rnrnBeth had attended Saint Louis Elementary School and Maud High School. She was a member of the Saint Louis First Baptist Church and a Citizen Pottawatomie Nation Tribal Member. She had worked as a nurse?s aid at Sunset Estates in Tecumseh and as a bartender at the Endzone in Shawnee.rnrnSurvivors include her daughter and son-in-law, JoVonna Hicks and George Middleton, Jr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Charlene Killian of Maud, Oklahoma, Clarice and Fred Murdock of Saint Louis, Oklahoma and Teresa Vieux of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Zachary Hicks, Destiny Middelton and Obadiah Middleton all of Shawnee, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Kim Thorpe and Ray Jones of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Mary Thorpe of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jessie Williams of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, Robbie Primeaux of Maud, Oklahoma, John Randall Killian of Maud, Oklahoma; great nieces and nephews, Genesis Thorpe and Olicia Jones of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Gavin Williams of Saint Louis, Oklahoma; a host of other family and dear friends also survive her.rnrnThe family would like to mention a special thanks to those who were so close to Beth including Velma & Mike West, Sam Howell, Jr., Greg Howell, Mike & Tina Lowery, Kelly & Heather Hahms, Scotty & Rocky Taylor, Dewayne Ketcaah, Dorothy Herron, Mike & Nola Shirey, Larry Bruno, Tiffany Wilson and Brandy Lona Ketakea.rnrnBeth was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Vieux (2007) and Mary Vieux, one brother Nick Vieux (2007); brother-in-law, Dewayne Thorpe (1995) and by nephew, Noah James Shirey (2007).rnrnA Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Saint Louis, Oklahoma with Leon Bruno officiating.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be, Randy Killian, Jessie Williams, Mike West, Dewey Ketakea, Ray Jones and George Middleton.rnrnCremation services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud, Oklahoma.rnrnrn Funeral Information: December 2, 2008, 2:00 AM
