Elizabeth Clare Emarthle, age 56 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Wake service is planned for Friday, June 16th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Cold Springs Baptist Church, and burial will follow at Emarthle Cemetery. Rev. Frank Harjo will officiate. Casket bearers are Michael Johnson, Ricky Harjo, Chebon Emarthle, Daryl Douglas, Jr., Calvin Harjo, and Zac Postoak. Honorary bearers are Walter Factor, Noah Factor, and Chilean Factor. Elizabeth was born August 15, 1960 in Oklahoma City to Tommy Ray Emarthle and Eleanor Bernice (Blackburn) Emarthle. She loved collecting yard ornaments, going fishing with her dad, witching television, and going for drives in the countryside. She is survived by her parents, Tommy Emarthle and Eleanor Emarthle, both of Tulsa; one son, Martin Emarthle of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Jessica Emarthle of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Daniel Emarthle and wife, Susan of Wichita, Kansas; and one sister, Carol Douglas and husband, Daryl of Bothell, Washington.
