Elijah Lane Saunders, infant son of Cody A. and Tara Sue ( Mason) Saunders former Seminole residents, Cody now serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., Elijah was born on June 21, 2012 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and died October 9, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In addition to his parents Cody and Tara Saunders of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma he is survived by two brothers Nathaniel A. Saunders and Alexander R. Saunders and a sister Anna Sample all of the home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His grandparents Terry R. Mason, Walter and Pattie Saunders, Cindy S. Lynch, Stan L. Powell, Allen D. O’Bryant and Beth O’Bryant and Great Grandpa Duskin, Great Grandma and Grandpa O’Bryant and Great Grandma Saunders. Aunt June and Mike Hume, Aunt Kim, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Matthew Campbell and Uncle Justin and Michelle Whetstone. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma with burial at Little Cemetery. Chaplin Stephen Hicks of the U.S. Air Force will officiate at the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
