Elaine (Patzack) Bachhofer

Elaine Bachhofer, age 78, left her earthly home with her husband holding her hand to enter the gates of heaven on Friday, August 26, 2022. She was a resident of Prague and former resident of Paden. Elaine was born on July 18, 1944, in El Reno to Gilbert and Agnes Patzack and they preceded her in death.

Elaine met Larry in 1969 when they were working at Will Rogers Airport. They were married December 24, 1969.

Elaine was a true homemaker. She took pride in decorating their home inside and out. She was an excellent seamstress, making curtains for their home and her own clothes. She enjoyed playing in the dirt and planting flowers.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paden. She helped at the church’s clothes closet. She enjoyed the fellowship and luncheon with her friends. She folded hundreds of pieces of clothing and helped to distribute the clothes.

Two of the great qualities Elaine possessed were “Love Thy Neighbor” and “A Friend Loves At All Times”. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was loved by many.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Bachhofer, two sisters, several brother and sister in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, her church family and her neighbors.

Viewing for Elaine will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 29 and 8:00 to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma and at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the First Baptist Church in Paden, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services for Elaine will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Paden, Oklahoma with Terry Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.

Casket bearers will be Rusty Gear, Brett Fesler, Kenny Collins, Shawn Logan, Wendell Davenport and Craig Gear.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
