Edward Leon "Eddie" Tillman , age 69 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away November 13, 2023 at his home in Allen, Oklahoma.

A celebration of life and luncheon is scheduled for Noon on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Community Center in the city park in Konawa.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.

Eddie was born December 21, 1953 in Oklahoma City to J. L. Holman and Betty Jo (Irby) Myatt.  He was a “Jack-of-all-trades” and was a flooring installer and a home construction handyman until his retirement.  Eddie enjoyed camping and fishing, spending time with his family and friends, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Edward Tillman of Konawa; two daughters, Betty Pelts and husband, Anthony of Allen, Oklahoma, and Tina Lyon and husband, Todd of Howell, Michigan; two brothers: James Tillman and wife, Susan Tillman of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Joseph Daniel Hope-Tillman and wife, Christie of Hereford, Arizona; one sister, Margaret Tillman of Norman, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Brittany Benson, Christopher Estes, Kara Frazier, Dakota Pelts, Brinlee, Womack, and Jakovi Rawls-Tillman; ten great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Myatt and step-father, Carl Myatt; grandmother, Cleo Irby; one sister, Mary Waldron-Tillman; three brothers, Donald Tillman, Benny Myatt, and Ed Myatt.
