Edward Earl Loving

Edward Earl Loving, 67, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma, resident, passed away, Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Edward was born August 19, 1951 in Seminole, Oklahoma to David Loving, Sr. and Elsie (Pulliam) Seyfert. Edward grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School. Edward was a self-employed carpenter and was well known for being a hard worker and helping others. He had a good heart, was kind and was a loving husband who was dedicated to his family. He loved gardening and cooking and enjoyed cooking for people in his neighborhood. Edward was also a longtime deacon at the Good Shepherd Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Edward was married to Sherry Goines Loving on August 8, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Edward is survived by his wife Sherry Loving of Seminole, Oklahoma, his sons; Jeremy Loving and Eddie Loving, Jr. both of Seminole, Oklahoma,his daughter; Alicia Loving of Seminole, brothers; David Loving, Jr. of Prescott, Arizona, Bobby Loving of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Gary Loving of Bethel, Oklahoma, sisters; Carolyn Bruce, Melissa Odi and Ramona Seyfert, all of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of grandchildren and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, David Loving, Sr. and Elsie Seyfert and his brother Harold Loving. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Temple of Praise Church with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
