Edward Lee Gentry

Edward Lee Gentry, age 82 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 at his home. No services are scheduled at this time.  Viewing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, May 9th at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Edward was born on April 27, 1930 in Texas to Robert L. Gentry and Marie (Gilmore) Gentry.  He worked as a driller for the oilfield industry. He is survived by three sons, Richard Franklin Gentry of Konawa, James Edward Gentry of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Curtis Lee Gentry of Asher, Oklahoma; one daughter, Linda Cowans of Oklahoma City; one sister, Wanda L. Johnson of Checotah, Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
