Edward Lee Factor, age 72 of Maud, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma.rnrnA wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3rd at High Springs Baptist Church in Konawa, Oklahoma, and funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 4th at the church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Bunny Carpitcher and Jimsey Harjo will officiate, and burial will follow at the Factor Family Cemetery in Wolf, Oklahoma. Pallbearers are Travis Hunter, Frank Lankford, Audie Lankford, Herman Foster, Keith Motley, and Charles Burgess. The grandsons are honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.rnrnEdward was born on May 6, 1936, in Konawa, Oklahoma, to Timmie Ray Factor and Susie Mae (Cummings) Factor. Edward, a life-long Seminole County resident, was a Konawa High School graduate and a barber by trade. He was a member of High Springs Baptist Church and a former Council Member of the Tusekia Harjo Band. He was also an avid sports fan and a Merle Haggard fan.rnrnHe is survived by four sons, Rodney Factor of Wolf, Oklahoma, Terry Factor of Ada, Oklahoma, Paul Factor of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Mark Factor of Ada, Oklahoma; two daughters, Rita Loder of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Lori Factor of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one brother, Timmie Factor, Jr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three sisters, Vera Mae Harjo of Wolf, Oklahoma, Francina Johnson of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Betty Harjo of Wolf, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a very special personal friend, Geraldine Cloud of Konawa, Oklahoma.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, Timmie and Susie Factor, and two brothers, Roman and Glen Factor.rn Funeral Information: May 3, 2009, 1:00 AM
