Edward Donald Coleman, longtime Asher area resident, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Konawa at the age of 78.rnrnHe was born on August 12, 1928 in Asher to Ed & Crissie (Henderson) Coleman. He married Patsy Sue (Orr) in Purcell, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2006.rnrnMr. Coleman was a heavy equipment operator in construction and the oilfield. He also ran a motor grader for Pottawatomie County. rnrnHe is survived by one son, Kenneth Coleman of Konawa; one daughter, Dawnna Brittain of Ada; one brother, Gene Coleman of Okla. City; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. rnrnHe was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wallace Coleman.rnrnGraveside services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Vista Cemetery, west of Konawa.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
