Edna Mae Wilson, 71 longtime Seminole resident, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Edna was born November 9, 1944 in Seminole to Earl Colbert and Pearl (Mills) Colbert. Edna was a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She enjoyed cooking, being with her family and her cats. She was a member of the Church of the Living God and Galilee Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Edna is survived by her son Walter Wilson and his wife, Norma of Baytown, Texas, her daughter Jennifer Freeman and her spouse Stephanie Freeman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, three sisters Carmelita Jackson, Doris Littleton and Dorothy Wilkerson all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her grandchildren Jermaine Vaden, Daymon Burris, KaPrisha Burris, Keirra Wilson, Kandis Ellison, Ashley Smith, Caleb Smith and Armani Parker and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Charles Colbert, William Earl Colbert and James Colbert and two sisters Carolyn Jane Smith and Linda Kay Minner. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor J.C. Simpson and Rev. Geraldine Crawford officiating. Honorary bearers will be, Gilbert Reese, Reginal Knighton, Randy Winrow, Phillip Wilson, Johnny Littleton and Steven Conway. Flower girls are: Lolita O'Guinn, Shirley Davis, Karen Reese, Lillie Chesser, Doris Littleton and Dorothy Wilkerson.
