Longtime Seminole resident Edna Jean Brinker passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the age of 57. rnrnShe was born on February 7, 1951 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to William ?Bill? Clyde and Ida (Bowden) Adkins. She was a graduate of Seminole High School. Edna worked for the City of Seminole water office, The Seminole Police Department and Wrangler. rnrn rnrnEdna married Steve Brinker in Canadian County on June 5, 1969. rnrn rnrnShe is survived by her husband, Steve Brinker of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin and Jade Brinker of Seminole and Jason and Missy Brinker of Seminole, and one brother, Billy Dale Adkins of Seminole. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Nicholas Brinker, whom she helped raise, Brian Sims, and Trevor Brinker. rnrnEdna loved her family and her grandkids were her life. Edna loved to travel. She is also survived by special friends, Dianah Bundy and Janie Kelley and a host of other family and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. rnrn rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents; Bill and Ida Adkins and mother and father-in-law: Chester and Ethelda Brinker. rnrn rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wed. December 17, 2008 at the Immanuel Fellowship Church with Danny Fisher and Tim Tate officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. rnrnPallbearers will be: Mike Haskins, Jack Thompson, Tommy Mackey, Terry McGinnis, Curtis Bundy and Ron Allen.
