Marie (Poston) Phillips, age 81 of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Solara Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnServices are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16th, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery in Konawa. Rev. Wesley Martin and Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Pallbearers are Bill Sharber, Johnny Sharber, Floyd Clayton, Harvey McElroy, Mark Payne, and Ted Eberle. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Rains, and Gene Carter. The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 15th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.rnrnRusty was born on November 4, 1927, to Floyd Poston and Pearl (Manuel) Poston in Konawa. She married Elmo Phillips on April 3, 1946, in Konawa. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Konawa, and she loved to go fishing and camping.rnrnShe is survived by her husband, Elmo Phillips of the home; two sons, Roger Dean Phillips, and wife, Linda of Oklahoma City, and Larry Gene Phillips and wife, Dianne of Oklahoma City; one brother, Winford Poston of Konawa; one sister, Juanita Dunlap, and husband, Johnny of Ft.
