Earnest Bud Green

Earnest Bud Green , age 82, passed away March 7, 2022 at Heritage Nursing Center in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Vista Cemetery, four miles west of Konawa, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.

Bud Green was born March 19, 1939 in Burke County North Carolina to Rhoney R. Green and Anthy M. (Turnmire) Green. He graduated from high school, and he became the owner and operator of a scrap metal business.  He married Lorene (Wilson) Green on March 12, 1996, and later, he spent his last years at Heritage Nursing Center.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Judy Neeley and husband, Henry of Asher, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorene Green; four brothers; and four sisters.
