Earl Pryor

Earl Preston Pryor, 83 year old Seminole resident passed from this life April 10, 2007 at Seminole Medical Center. He was born October 3, 1923 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Earl O. Pryor and Annabell (Anthony) Pryor. Both parents preceded him in death.rnrnMr. Pryor had attended Bowlegs Schools he then enlisted in the United States Navy.rnrnPryor married Dorothy Annalee (Knight) on April 29, 1943 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on January 25, 1992.rnrnMr. Pryor was a truck driver who worked for "American Pipe Company" out of Union City, California. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and was also a member of the Teamsters Union.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. His brothers-in-law, Roy Plant and Millard Stevens will officiate the service.rnrnMr. Pryor is survived by, one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Geraldean Pryor of Shawnee, OklahomarnrnTwo sisters and brothers-in-law, Irma Jean and her husband Millard Stevens of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Barbara Ann and her husband Roy Plant of Waterford, California.rnrnPreston is also survived by Hazel Stevens of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnPryor was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and by three brothers and one sister.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home - Seminole, Oklahoma.
